Not sure where to put this but wanted to voice my opinion in all leagues and forums that the HoF voters need to pull their heads out of their a#!@#. No Edgar again!

Just points to a larger disagreement on the DH, he's a casualty of it. If he had played horrible defense at third or first for some NL team he would be in. Baseball has to decide what they are and move forward. Unfortunately, union and other politics does not allow for this issue to be resolved!

The funniest part is that Ortiz will probably get in because he was a "winner" even though Edgar was a better hitter. Like it's Edgar's fault that the Mariners GM couldn't put a winning team on the field. Nope - it'll be because he wasn't as "clutch" as Ortiz.
An don't even get me started on Raines - it's criminal that he isn't in the Hall.
And I know Bonds juiced but he was one of the all-time greats even before he started shooting Vitamin-S. He's an ahole and a cheater, but he still deserved the nod.

Ortiz was also accused of steroid use. Wonder if that will hurt his chances at all?
